Educational Qualification & Experience

Age Criteria

• General/EWS/OBC: 21 to 27 years
• SC/ST: Relaxation of 5 years
• OBC: Relaxation of 3 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Deduction of military service duration + 3 years

Other Requirements:

• Driving License: Valid for Heavy Motor Vehicles, Light Motor Vehicles, and Motorcycles with gear.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of driving experience (calculated from the issuance of LMV license).
• Physical Standards:
• Height: 167 cm (General/OBC/SC) & 160 cm (ST/Relaxed categories)
• Chest: 80-85 cm (General/OBC/SC) & 78-83 cm (ST/Relaxed categories)

Step-by-Step Process:

1. Height Bar Test (HBT): Initial screening.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• 800m run in 3 minutes 15 seconds
• Long jump: 11 feet
• High jump: 3 feet 6 inches

3. Physical Standard Test (PST): Measurement of height and chest.

4. Documentation: Verification of original certificates.

5. Trade Test:

• Driving tests for light and heavy vehicles.
• Practical knowledge of motor mechanisms.

6. Written Examination (OMR/CBT):

• 100 questions (General Knowledge, Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude, Observation Ability, English/Hindi).
• Duration: 120 minutes.

7. Medical Examination (DME/RME): Conducted as per CAPF medical standards.
